EYFS Teacher – Orpington
We are currently working with an “Outstanding” primary school located in Orpington who are hiring for a EYFS teacher to start in February 2025.
Our client is looking for a full-time class teacher with passion and enthusiasm to plan and deliver exciting sequences of learning for their children and join the fantastic staff team. This role will be for a long-term maternity cover role which will be until the end of the school year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality education to students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress, behaviour, and achievements.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or 2.
- Good knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and experience in its implementation
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
