KS2 Class Teacher – Swanley

We are currently working with a Primary School is located in the heart of Swanley. This school has a welcoming and supportive staff and friendly, polite and enthusiastic children who enjoy their learning.

This school is currently seeking a full time enthusiastic and highly motivated KS2 teacher who is passionate about working with children and has excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of all pupils are essential as well as comprehensive knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a safe, organised and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, independence and celebrates pupils’ achievements.
• To take responsibility for the progress of all pupils in the class.
• Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment, and ensuring pupils are aware of the substance and purpose of what they are asked to do
• To adhere to all school Safeguarding policies and procedure and to be familiar with and support the aims, ethos and policies of the school
• Work closely with parents and carers for the benefit of the children

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within a primary school
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
